The Guild meets on the 2nd
and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September to
April. We
are a happy group sharing joy in good times and
supporting each other in sad times.
Our varied syllabus has had
something for everyone, from interesting talks on the
work of First Responders and Pathfinder Dogs to the
lovely singing and humour of the Salvation Army
Songsters.
On our Topic Night, we were
delighted to welcome Rev Andre Groenewald, from the
Presbytery Visitation Team, who joined in the various
parts of the evening on "Can we forgive and forget?"
During Guild Week we held a
Beetle Drive to raise money for the project which we are
supporting — A Place for Hope- a Church of Scotland
Ministries Council initiative to help resolve conflicts
within churches and congregations.
We also support the church
and Dr Graham's Homes in Kalimpong both financially and
through prayer.
We warmly welcome new members
so please come along and become a part of the
Guild.
